Welcome again to the second blog for IFR
Ok so we did say in our last blog that in this blog we are going to discuss the various events that we have done and are about to do and oh their good, well we think they are.
First, we approached the head of education at the Highland council to discuss the IFR going into schools in the Highland area to teach CPR, DEFIB and Recovery and were delighted when the answer came back as YES they would be delighted to accept.
The IFR Team believe that it is vital that we get members of the public and the young trained in the simple skills that can save a life and the way to do that is to get out into the community and the local schools.
The first school to take us up on this free training was the head Michael Aitchison from Invergordon Academy itself.
We have also organised for some free CPR training in the community and an also do this training to small groups in people’s homes if this is easier.
This free training will be on a regular monthly basis, so if you are interested please drop us an email or contact us on our Facebook page and we will get back to you to organise a date and time that suits us all.
Ok now for the BIG ONE ARE YOU READY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY ARE YOU BRAVE?!
We have organised a FIRE WALK
When is it – Friday 14th Sept 2018
Time – 7PM for practice and 8PM for the actual fire walk
